Burst of sunshine. The sea salt crumbs. Endless beach. All of this belongs to you only during this day. Take it all. Breath it in. How does it feel? I felt unconditional happiness. Just like a kid who was given it’s favorite candy bar and now cherishes every second to savor it.
I was recently buried under my work, moving to our new place (yess, finally!) and dealing with the ultimate fun of packing-unpacking. I swear my head was about to burst. I was sitting in the middle of tons of cartons, having no idea where to get more power to get through it. I got to discover a brand-new level of being worn-out. But hey! Prioritizing your wellbeing and good energy should always be on the first place. Make the most of every moment by focusing on what really matters for YOU. Don’t like that movie? You know where the “exit” sign is. Find yourself at a tedious dinner with strangers? Ask for a bill and leave politely. Feel like you need to start over from zero? I’m your number one ally here. Your playground is limitless. What makes you feel alive? For me it’s going to an unexpected trip, dancing & spending quality time with my best people. I’ve teamed up with Marks & Spencer to share my journey of making the most out of life and not holding back on things you truly love.
I didn’t plan on going outside of Paris the last weekend. We’ve just spontaneously decided to go to Normandy on Friday night, so we’ve grabbed a car, friends and a bathing suit. I could spend my life trying on the Marks & Spencer swimsuits, but I stopped my choice at this “pin-up” inspired red one piece. We only had one day, so we first went to Yport with its cute blue cabanes, swam in the 12°C water of La Manche and then drove to Etretat for the sunset. This tiny impropmtu trip was one of the best Saturday’s ever. The evidence of how small things can fill you with great energy and correct your attitude towards life & yourself. After all, life’s short, so burn the nicest candle, put on your favorite dress and bring on that red lipstick game on, even on Tuesday.
